4th anniversary of “200 Men Molested” On Oprah
Today marks the 4th anniversary of the landmark Oprah Winfrey Show that I had the honor to be on “200 Men Molested” It was the first time that I publicly spoke of my own personal story and speaking thereafter. The last 4 years have been incredible with new and exciting opportunities and I am so blessed! I dedicate today to the 199 other men who stood alongside me on that show - shattering the [...]
What has HPF been up to?
HPF has been busy! We wrapped up the spring with a final presentation to first year medical students at the University of Pennsylvania for the second year in a row. This group is a dynamic collection of students educating themselves to get into the medical profession. Discussing the topic of child sexual abuse is important because they will be one of the people on the front line either examining a child that has been assaulted or working with an adult that has a history of child sexual abuse and still living with the horror associated with the abuse. In [...]

Executive Director Letter 2013
Hello Everyone, First and foremost, we want to thank every single one of you for making 2013 an incredible start to our journey. We also have spoken to many about different ways to prevent these heinous acts from occurring in the future, but for that to become a reality, it will truly take a team effort. You are all apart of that team. I learned a lot in 2013 in regards to not just [...]

PCA Fall Open House
Last Thursday, the 26th, our co-founders Rhett Hackett and Charles Custer had the privilege of attending the Fall Open House for the Philadelphia Children's Alliance (PCA). The visit comes with mixed feelings. One look and you can see that you are in a newly created facility! The fresh smell of new carpet and clean walls of new paint gives a feeling of crispness and as told, this is an expanded facility compared to their previous home on 15th Street. You can also see how they are now connected with the Special Victims Unit (SVU) of Philadelphia along with the Department of Human [...]
