The Humanity Preservation Foundation was once again extended the opportunity to have Rhett Hackett present to their first year med students.  The lecture included three speakers discussing Child Abuse, Domestic or Intimate Partner Violence, and Sexual Abuse.  The students were then encouraged to participate in a Q&A. Two hundred students attended, and Rhett received a standing ovation with the highest amount of questions asked in the five years that this lecture has been taking place.  The Humanity Preservation Foundation is very grateful for this opportunity each year as educating future medical professionals on the signs of sexual trauma in children is key to putting an end to violence and helping victims that have had trauma in the past seek professional help.
