Barnegat Rotary Invites HPF to Speak

The Humanity Preservation Foundation was honored to be able to present to the Barnegat Rotary Club at their weekly meeting on April 27, 2015.  Both Development Associate, Zachary Weintraut and President Rhett Hackett presented to the group.  The presentation was timely as it coincided with Child Abuse Awareness month.  The presentation consisted of discussing the stats of children being sexually assaulted combined with the affects that both domestic violence and bullying have on children.

The main message was that in order to protect our children we need to be able to educate them on the topic of abuse so that they know what to do should they find themselves in an unsafe situation.  It is a powerful moment when you have a club such as the Rotary supporting your efforts and taking interest in what you do so that you can better the community!
