Comedy Club Night Yields a Donation not to be Laughed At!

On April 30th, the Barnegat Rotary Club held its 2nd annual Comedy For A Cause Night and selected the Humanity Preservation Foundation as one of two recipients to receive the proceeds from the show as a donation. We are proud to announce that two days ago (June 15th), the Barnegat Rotary Club presented  Rhett Hackett with a check of $2,800!  The Humanity Preservation Foundation wishes to thank the Barnegat Rotary Club for all their hard work, the sponsors & businesses that donated and everyone that attended the event!

What has HPF been up to?

HPF has been busy!   We wrapped up the spring with a final presentation to first year medical students at the University of Pennsylvania for the second year in a row.  This group is a dynamic collection of students educating themselves to get into the medical profession.  Discussing the topic of child sexual abuse is important because they will be one of the people on the front line either examining a child that has been assaulted or working with an adult that has a history of child sexual abuse and still living with the horror associated with the abuse.
